Studio 66 Cams general chat

This isn't something that I know much about but I did notice these two exchanges today and it seemed to me that there's an issue or two here that is of concern to those of you that spend money when you watch.
Firstly this afternoon in the Firestorm chatroom:



And secondly from Sophia's perve cam chat this evening:



Behind it all is the ever increasing variety of platforms and terminology:

On Sky
On TV and web
Web only
Webcam
Perve cam
Backstage
Private (pvt)
Group show

Some of these are the same thing.

Then there's the management of them, Sophia has obviously got a clear understanding of what she wants to do and how to control it and that's got a lot to do with her earnings and experience.
Then there's the IT that might be creaking a bit and lastly the understanding of the punter wanting to ensure that he gets value for money.

Like I say, this isn't my field but if these observations help other posters marshall their thoughts or get something off their chests then that's great.

I think it's time that Jamie was invited to come on to this forum and let us have an opportunity to raise our concerns directly to him, on where webcam is headed and how it should be working and have an open and frank discussion and whether the S66 website needs a complete re - design which if was re-designed and given a fresh look that could solve many problems.

My very basic understanding of the various formats is as follows:

Sky, TV & web - FTA with calls and/or pervecam
Web-only - FTA with calls and/or pervecam
Webcam, backstage, private & group - Paywall with sound
Pervcam - paywall without sound

S66's problem is that their producers and presenters don't know how to turn freeloaders (LOL) into customers.

Web-only shows should be FTA night shows during the daytime.

Here's why S66 cams is destined to fail;

- Poor quality webcams (480p) In a world of HD+ cams for over 12 years
- Poor streaming from the girls location, to S66 site then to the customer (Us)
- Continuous buffering issues, even on the fastest on PC's and internet connections
- The girls aren't 100% into it, concentrating on getting tips for doing naff all
- S66 trying to be a site like Chaturbate, which will never happen
- Extortionate pricing and for the continuous buffering issues and poor quality cams, you may as well just go and throw money down the toilet

I disagree with all that, have u never wanted babex , that's done really well and is clearly the module that 66 is copied not chatubate,
All the issues u talk about affect babex as well and yet they keep growing as they are giving people the chance to talk to there favorite babeshow girl, what u have failed to realize is that a lot of people who call or cam with babeshows don't use other sites as they are interested in the girls they know, 66 know this and its why there at home show is taking off ,

Spot on icy, don’t forget poor quality, cutting off calls and awful overhearing of studio noise, makes you want to give up calling or am I the only one thinking this ?

Plus if s66 cams wasn’t taking off, s66 would have pulled the plug

^ Wouldn't you have been saying the same at this stage of 66's 66USA project or whatever it was called?!

You need to learn something Rammy: Supply doesn't always follow demand. Sometimes a producer/manufacturer will attempt to fashion or modify demand by controlling supply. 

For my money, what 66 seem to be doing atm is more about manipulating what is expected of "a babeshow" in order to make this latest cheaper form of broadcast acceptable with their punters. They may or may not be making money from their home cams atm (or the babes maybe, but the operator may not). The home cams may be being propped up for the time being by what 66 are taking elsewhere. 66 may be prepared to take a little bit of rough with the smooth for a while in order to push for a transition they see as desirable going forward. We just don't know.

Your easy assumptions are just that I'm afraid Rammy. Give it a year with full on vibrant groups of chatters, tipping and vibra-ing babes and you may be on to something; till then I'd be reserving judgement if I were you.

Must be nearly a year since St66 started these shows I do think they should have got on top of any problems from the beginning and sorted them out fully and if problems still exist, then they need to look at their software and upgrade it if needed and make investments for better quality cams for the girls at home.
