Pt 1 - Meheeco! especially a trip wire slide thing which looked both exhilarating and horrendous.
pt 2 - a bit from Belize, and rather more from Guatemala

BBC1's adaptation of The War of the Worlds episode 2 - really good stuff for a Sunday night and preceded by Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials with both having some good special effects. I understand that the other two books The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass will also be adapted for the BBC next year.

I'm guessing if His Dark Materials does well they will probably adapt the new trilogy also

Who Do You Think You Are? US - Hilary Duff
Conveniently, she's related to the Virginia governor who helped kill Blackbeard the pirate, and then she went to Dunfermline Abbey to learn about Robert the Bruce.

I'm really enjoying His Dark Materials, the film (The Golden Compass), was okay, but this version is so much better. Great cast and good visuals.

Upright. Tim Minchin's new show on Sky Atlantic. It's pretty good, some humour (not a comedy though), and well acted. If you like Tim, it's worth giving it a look. Something different from him, the multi talented so and so. lol.
