My next post in this thread will be when I post the results and tables following the conclusion of all the fixtures in this gameweek, which will be either Sunday night or Monday evening.

Week 1 Results

Thank you to all that took part. I'm always excited by the start of a new football season and it was great to see so many of you get us off to a flying start in the Premier League predictions.

Some very unexpected scorelines on the opening weekend gave us only seven correct scores in the entire round, with only one of those being a successful joker. Congratulations to jumbo _ jim who achieved that feat and is the early leader with 12. Four other players are close behind on 9 and then obviously it's very close down the league table.

The addition of the joker really does make a difference to the game, so to get maximum enjoyment from it I would remind people not to forget to play it. One person forgot to play their joker. If they had have done, we would have had double the number of jokers for the round.

Week 2 Fixtures

The second round of fixtures are now available. The first kick off for this round will be on Saturday 17th August where Arsenal and Burnley have the honour of starting us off at 1230. Entries to this round are open to all players from now up to and including 12.30 on Saturday.

Please submit all your predictions by that time and don't forget to allocate one match for your joker. See the launch post for any recaps of the rules. Thanks again for taking part and I hope to see you all next week. Also anyone else who wants to join the game now is more than welcome - indeed, the more the better!
