That's like saying AJ Styles will never get over because his personality is that he's a happily married family man (like Shane McMahon, like Vince, like HHH, etc)

If Nakkers and Itami don't speak English then WWE should make a VIRTUE of it rather than just throw their hands up and say "we can't be arsed thinking about this - let's put a belt on R-Truth instead".

I don't really get your aj styles point...being a family man isnt a personality, aj styles is as over as he is because he can tell a story inside the ring and outside but he isnt drawing sell out crowds smackdown's attendance since he has been on top has been terrible (not all his fault i know) wwe most successful era's have always been era's full of unique characters and personalities and today when ratings are as low as they have ever been everyone is just bland all promos are the same its the writers and vinces fault overall they have got lazy
But hideo itami is one of the most boring wrestler wwe has ever had... he walks straight to the ring no expression does his kicks and nobody in the crowd cares and nakamura they gave him a rumble win and WM title match so they didnt really throw their hands up with him but when all you can say that is understandable is "knee to face" and "no speak english" you are sort of at a dead end.
And say what you want about R truth but he is way more entertaining to watch and gets better crowd reaction than naka and itami and a lot of others

Styles is as I understand it a notorious case for "he can't draw, he's got no personality". He's great in the ring though.

Itami will almost certainly be big box office within 3-6 months if he goes back to Japan.

Thats true about aj but he has improved so much since coming to wwe on things like promos and "acting" where as nakamura hasn't

And that depends on what you think big box office is because noah wasnt exactly doing big buisness when itami/kenta was there... but he will be better of in japan because the only thing that matters there is in ring work, being as charismatic as a piece of wood is fine in japan... the most charismatic guy japan had was nakamura and he cant get a reaction from the crowd that pretty much says it all

That's why I said WWE need to put the effort in. Given their track record on Asian wrestlers numbers Kaientai and green-mist-spitting heel Tajiri, then either cast the guys in that mould and face the racism complaints, or try and put it the other way. Guys who have Japanese wrestling experience would at least help them along in the short term. By his own admission, Daniel Bryan needed a while to tune in to the WWE mind-set, so it's not a lost cause. But it needs will-power, which WWE often reserves for favoured projects eg Roman Reigns. WWE didn't sign him just to waste him.

They gave nakamura every opportunity to be a star they pushed him as good as they could have and yet when the bell rings nobody cares...
Also some people may not like roman reigns but that guy looks like a star and somebody that can represent the company thats why they focus their time on him they are not going to waste time on someone who can't be arsed to learn english.
Its a shame because i like nakamura but his act just doesnt really work in wwe i think he should go back to njpw

All these discussions highlight exactly why WWE really need to take far more care with their storyline planning. It's no good booking people to win a major event, like a Royal Rumble, then flushing it down the toilet by ruining their character.

Nakamura suffered from this. Sadly he's been given stories that he hasn't worked with. Pointless arguments with people, even low blowing Styles and turning heel didn't get hardly any reaction from the crowd. The segment in the men's rumble where Nia Jax was basically set upon by three or four guys was another example of bad WWE planning. Again no reaction from the crowd and rightly so. People aren't going to cheer someone getting beat up when the story isn't going to go anywhere, plus that part of the rumble was shameful and disgusting planning from WWE in my opinion.

I dread to think what they'll do with Lesnar vs Rollins. I think the Rousey vs Becky feud will have more chance of excitement, but Ronda's another one who needs to brush up on her performing abilities in my opinion. Her match against Sasha was a car crash - it's a wonder someone didn't get crippled with the amount of bad planning and botched moves.

If Reigns wasn't related to other wrestlers, he would have got no chance. The bloody Shield was designed to boost him & cover his inadequacies, WWE put him in with 2 proper wrestlers in Ambrollins, all so he could benefit from them, and then the several million pushes WWE gave him. And he's still crap

You can't really say reigns wouldn't of had a chance if he wasnt related to other wrestlers... he is vince mcmahon's prototype his over 6ft tall his athletic he has a good look so to say he is only where he is because he is related to the rock is ridiculous i mean look at batista roman is a better wrestler right across the board and batista is one of the biggest stars wwe has ever had and when the shield started out of the 3 members roman always got the biggest crowd reactions and to call ambrose and rollins proper wrestlers is funny to me
All rollins cares about is getting all his moves in and ambrose i feel he is in the wrong era

I just watched fully loaded 2000 for the first time in years and what a great show with a triple main event
The funniest part was the build up videos for triple h v jericho's match
Triple h just kept saying he wanted jerichos ass lol
