Totally agree. Hold ups on the other hand are the polar opposite. Most MILFs and cougars get this. I find millennials and younger struggle with it. The key being that tights have an in-built barrier to the crotch, obscuring not only visibility but blocking digital, buccal, and penile access.

IMO tights are good for storing bulbs and tubers, allows the air to circulate and stops rot. Holdups are an entirely different thing
