See doddle you are looking at it as a long term fan and i get that but the problem there is is that the casual fan does not care how good of a wrestler you are they care about if it looks believable enough to suspend their disbelief and dolph, seth or dean vs strowman would 9 times out of 10 be booked as a squash match
Being a good in ring wrestler is the least important thing,
If you look at all the top stars of the company over the years who people paid to see was any of them what would be considered today a great wrestler ?
John cena
Hulk hogan
The rock
Steve austin
Batista
Brock lesnar
The list goes on and on but people paid to see them, nobody pays to see dolph ziggler or seth rollins and thats why they got moved out of the main event picture
I do feel like seth could make it back but he need major re-booking but being in a feud with ambrose is not gonna do it

Another thing that annoyed me which they have been doing recently is the little pre tapes promos before the matches can the people over seeing them not tell that they sound terrible, they sound like they are reading straight from a script its so un-natural
In terms of acting the whole idea of writing is to write something the character would say naturally..... rey mysterio's one yesterday was cringe

Strowman is the only one on the roster that has been built up enough to beat brock but once he does who does he face ? Over the past year the only person who has beaten braun and brock was roman nobody else....

This. I really (foolishly I know) thought Lashley was brought back to finally build him up as an MMA 'beast' force for the likes of Lesnar. I should've known better In my own WWE parallel universe, Heyman would screw Lesnar in a shock defection to Lashley. It'd be good heat for Bobby & even generate some sympathy for Brock. But back in the real universe, no such thing .

The women are the ones holding up WWE right now. I've said from time the Wrestlemania main event should be a woman's match. Lynch/Flair at Evolution showed that.

WWE Crown Jewel PPV started great with Hulk Hogan returning then it because a joke worse PPV ever it's a joke how the WWE made Braun Strowman look like a clown then the WWE made Shane McMahon win the WWE WorldCup WWE is a joke WWE need to take a look at how they booked WWE Evolution PPV that is how to book a good PPV Becky Lynch WWE VS Charlotte was better match then all the matches on WWE Crown Jewel PPV

I think the rest of the year is a write off
Survovor series looks like another pointless show....
Its not looking good for Wrestlemania next year the only thing i can see happening 100% is ronda vs charlotte
There really is nothing major they could even make happen on the mens side of things, they even gave aj vs bryan away for free
I really miss when wrestling was good and fun to watch

Bobby Lashley was brought in as Brock's natural successor when he left in the noughties & I kind of thought it would be the same when Lashley returned last year. WWE's main problem is that they tend to conveniently forget certain storylines as if they've never happened (Sister Abigail cough,cough)like when Lashley beat Reigns for a No 1 contender spot on a ppv several months ago only for Reigns to beat Lashley on Raw a few weeks later for the same No 1 spot.For me a Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar has always been a no brainer as they've never previously fought before & they are pretty much identical career paths/history (successful amateur wrestling backgrounds,successful MMA careers).But WWE's same old problems like with Lashley (& many others) is they don't know what to do with a lot of the stars in terms of story-lines, feuds (& how to market them) like they have with Lashley looks like he has moved from a championship contender to a mid-card performer in a non-existent storyline having a schoolboy looking Lio Rush as his manager.Bobby Roode is another example where he looks to be lumped in the lower end of the roster slumming in the tag teams losing against the likes of The Ascension.Finn Balor is put into an endless feud with Corbin & what's also happened to the likes of Shelton Benjamin, Sanity,Luke Harper ,Bray Wyatt (I heard that Wyatt family might be reforming).

WWE 101 is best summed up with the story of the Shield. Fans like us (!) would see it as a good vehicle for Rollins and Ambrose with their abilities, and giving Reigns some cover as he learns his main eventing chops. But to WWE, Reigns was only ever their star player in the group, for his family connections, and whilst to some extent they have used Rollins happily elsewhere, they've not shown anything like the same interest in Ambrose.

Vince can worship monsters like Lesnar all he likes, but without the right opponents, they don't achieve half of what they can. And the right opponents tend to be those people with actual wrestling talent (Styles, Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose, Joe, etc, etc).

I now see a possible reasoning as to why WWE wanted to put the WWE Universal Title back on Brock Lesnar as I believe they want to sign Daniel Cormier (who successfully retained his UFC Heavyweight belt early this morning submitting Derrick Lewis in the 2nd round) who has announced previously he wants to retire from UFC on his 40th birthday which is in March next year.Lesnar is pencilled in to fight Cormier for the UFC belt early next year & as Cormier has admitted he is a lifelong fan of WWE & so if he is good on his word that he will retire from UFC then signing up for WWE would be a realistic possibility.Cormier even suggested in his post fight interview after beating Lewis that he wanted Lesnar to bring the WWE in their UFC fight & he puts the WWE belt on the line as well.

Whoever wins in their UFC match then WWE could sign up a rematch of sorts between the two at a ppv like Wrestlemania & for me as someone who is a fan of Cormier he is tailor made for WWE as he is a two-time Olympic wrestler a great trash talker who cuts great promo's & he would only need to look at the success (& adulation) of former UFC star Ronda Rousey that switching from MMA to WWE & vice-versa can work out.

I think any match envolving lesnar should both him and his opponent destroy each even it ends in a double count out or no contest as long as the match is good. lesnar v styles last year or earlier this year showed that lesnar can have a good match. I would have liked to see lesnar and strowman destroy each other at crown jewel then introduce McIntyre, ambrose, rollins, elias in elimination match at survivor for the title where all 6 destroy each other with McIntyre or strowman winning.

I think wrestlers like roode are more suited to smackdown style show rather than raw, I would like to roode face styles for the wwe championship. There some good tag teams on the raw rosters that dont get the push like revival and AOP who both should be facing each other for the tag team titles rather than having it on rollins and ambrose.

Lucha undergound for the past few years have done better storylines and matches, there wrestlers on the roster that should either in the IC or Universial title picture but whatever reason they are not.

Where has all this love for Drew bloody McIntyre come from? The dude's been crap for years; I would almost make a ludicrous bet based on the unlikelihood of him winning the WWE or Universal Title either this year or next, that's how sure I am that it ain't gonna happen.
