^ Don't be too sure. A democrat supporter and donor has reported that once Trump attacked Blasey Ford last week the poll numbers of the Republicans in closely contested states improved. He may just have managed to get his base fired up to vote next month.

If it doe develop into civil war, he has enough troops to use and in reserve when you think about it the NRA's backing him he will crush any opposition in a war. But at the same time Mrs May could easily stage a coup and take back the White House

Indeed, but still think because of the #metoo movement in particular the republicans will lose at least one of the two houses they control in the senate

Democrats will win the House.
Republicans will hold the Senate.
More bottom-feeding partisan antics for a year.

Then Democrats can run a roller-skating monkey in 2020 and still win the election.

I just think the country will be exhausted with Trump by then.

Every reality show runs out of steam.
