Fernanda - Daytime Shows Chat & Discussion (Only)

This evening S66 showed Fernanda from the end of her bed again and we saw some close ups of her lovely feet. Mikki B didn't appear through illness and so Fernanda was alone from 20.00 until 22.00.
At 21.55 they switched back to front view for her sign off.
When she spoke to the nation she apologised for having a heart attack a few times, she has a cold.
She confirmed for Saturday but said that she wouldn't start until maybe 13.00 because she has to see her doctor first. She specified
'Consultation' rather than appointment.
She immediately pointed our that a late start would mean a later finish.
Cold or not she certainly seemed very chipper at the end and that she'd been buoyed up by our calls.

Fern's sign offs only go to confirm the genuine and warm person she is. The gratitude and thanks shown for all of her callers after each and every shift continue to stand her out from the rest of the crowd by a mile.
A fantastic show on Wednesday even though she wasn't feeling her best.

For many of us who know her and have spoken to her..
SHE WILL ALWAYS BE OUR QUEEN OF DAYTIME CHANNELS AND A TRUE LEGEND
What different place the channels will be without her..

Am i missing something? By the posts above it sounds like shes leaving the channels?? "Signing off"

what they are referring to is when she finishes her shifts and thanks her callers

Let's hope it is just the effects of a cold nothing more.

Today is the last day for voting for the Quarter Finals of the annual Daytime Queen of St 66 award and obviously Fernanda is a candidate.

The organiser has been scrupulously fair by not canvassing for support but the point is that we might not be able to vote for her next year. I for one would like to see her retire on top.

The vote is located on the Studio 66 TV Daytime section.

Just a little under two hours to vote!!

If & When Fern retires I would think it would be her decision and on her terms and not a decision that was made for her. She has been by far the sexiest and most genuine babe on the channels. When you talk with her it's like talking to a friend you haven't seen for years and she takes a genuine interest in every caller's interest.
