The Master's Predictions
WWE Championship Match
Randy Orton vs John Cena
Orton and Cena in the main event - didn't we see this a couple of years ago? Meanwhile the likes of Christian, MVP and co. waste away in the midcard.
The Master's Prediction: Cena. A bit of my soul just died.
TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk
I'm confidently picking this as the match of the night. And I'm also confidently predicting a screwjob courtesy of one Matthew Moore Hardy.
The Master's Prediction: PUNK WINS! PUNK WINS! PUNK WINS!
ECW Championship Match
Christian vs William Regal
This should be a pretty good match, but ultimately the ECW belt means bollock-all, so it's kinda pointless.
The Master's Prediction: Captain Charisma continues to be wasted on the C show.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Rey Mysterio vs Dolph Ziggler
I haven't really seen much of Ziggler so I can't really judge this one fairly. Having said that, I do see him winning.
The Master's Prediction: What's that guy's name? Oh, yeah, Ziggler.
WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match
Jerishow vs Cryme Time
I'm getting into this gelatinous pairing now, and based on the fact the Show's old buddy Floyd's hosting Raw next week, I'm guessing they'll retain.
The Master's Prediction: Jerishow.
D-Generation X vs The Legacy
You know what I'd like to see? HBK heel out on Trips. Just for a change. But then he's a godbotherer so that won't happen. Role on Taker-Michaels II!
The Master's Prediction: Another young tag team will be buried. Oh, sorry - DX.
Kane vs The Great Khali
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
The Master's Prediction: I will be taking a piss break.
MVP vs Jack Swagger
MVP needs to be back on SmackDown. Since when has going to Raw actually helped a young up 'n comers career? Since Cena, that's when. I rest my case.
The Master's Prediction: Tough one to call, but I'm going with Swagger.
As usual a bit of a mixed bag, but there should be some good matches, and hopefully Jeff won't kill himself.

Wait a sec... You never gave me any fish! Lousy cheapskates!
Note: That remark wasn't aimed at you, Skateguy.

RE: WWE Summerslam Discussion Thread
I've only seen about 4 of their events in the last 6 years. That said, half of the card has passed it's 'best before.. date', by a distance (5 - 10 years in some cases). If I had to give 2 good reasons for not watching 'Sports Entertainment', Randy Orton & Cena, would be they.
Those young upstarts DX must be around the 40-mark & as one's the son-in-law of the owner & presumably future management of WWE & the other, a man who's 'found God', I'm at a loss to see how that gets 'over'. The rebellious aspect is ..where? - 'I'm rich and he loves Jesus'.
Regal vs. Christian & Punk vs. Hardy (why's he still pretending to be 19??) sound about the most interesting, but I wouldn't stroll to the top of my road to watch either, let alone part with £15.
It irritates me that even with all the takeovers & finance, this is the best that they can come up with - it's freaking Summerslam for cryin' out loud...Hogan, Undertaker, Mr. Perfect, Ultimate Warrior, Piper, Legion Of Doom, Davey Boy, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart.

RE: WWE Summerslam Discussion Thread
no 'diva' match? the only entertaining part of wrestling now is seeing the 'divas' screw up their match. looks like we will just have to make do with the men fucking up.
predictions - at the end of the show real wrestling fans will stil not give a shit. BUT wwe will probably gain some new fans in the childrens tv market not to mention mothers too because its nice wholesome tv now.
what wwf fans need to realise is that our wrestling show is not aimed at us anymore. its a proper business now so its aiming for families. its a shame but i would recommend watching some old wwf matches instead of being ripped off with yet another lame wwe ppv.
