I can see where I got the 59 from but there did you get the 56 from, did you add the 2 MEP's?

I assume not all of Scotland is SNP, some SNP may or may not think being out of the EU is a good thing but this is a perfect thing to jump on for their ulterior motives and self promotion.

It's got to be said, they have had an absolutely a1 golden opputunatly to stop Brexit, if they really really REALLY thought the leaving the EU was goign to be as damaging to the UK as they claim it is going to be, it takes a special sort of stupid not to block article 50.

Yes there would be a bit of an out cry from some of the more hard line Brexiters, but unlike the remainers, that would blow over in a matter of weeks for the majority.

Actually i got it wrong they have 54

there are 59 seats in scotland SNP got 54 1 lib dem 1 labour and 1 tory and 2 independants

MEP's dont vote in parlimant or else UKIP would have a sizable vote in there as thats where UKIP have most power with a Majority of seats going to them

I find it hard to understand why Labour imposed a 3 line whip on the vote.
Which caused about 40 plus MP's (including 3 whips) to go against the party line.
Wouldn't it have been better to give a free vote, and let them vote as they wished.

Will all the Labour activists who support Corbyn be happy about his Brexit stance.
