Yes I read all that, nevertheless three said that it was lawful to go ahead with out the vote, 8 others agreed with this, but there was a point of law relating to the EU, which is not about UK sovernity.

just think of it this way Yesterdays judgement stops teresa may doing those Trump executive orders here. to think if she had the same power she would demolish all houses in the north and stop all disability benefits and bring back hanging

I don't have a problem with Parliament having a vote on it. It should expose quite a few MPs who think the opinion of their constituents doesn't matter.

Yesterday's ruling has also wound up that horrible Sturgeon creature which can only every be a good thing.

If Teresa May did have something like Trump executive orders here. she probably would not only demolish all houses in the north she'd probably end up ripping up all public cemeteries & graveyards at the same time I bet to get all the new houses we need in and might even go as far as strengthening Hadrian's Wall!!

It's nothing to do with Sovereignty, that old excuse should be buried.

A sovreign government voted in by the people and then that government giving ALL people the choice to take the UK out of the EU via a demographic vote AND has the royal perogative by law (fully acknoledge) has been ignored by a mere 8 people.

The whole challange was brought about by two immigrants to block the Brexit process. It was blocked over a loop hole regarding a point of law only. A law that was more to do with EU law making over the UK than anyhting to do with UK sovereignty.

Sovereignty is just a bull shit excuse to hide behind.

Chances are that Brexit will happen any way, all this is doing is drawing out the process and causeing even more divisions.

the current government with an un elected pm don't have a specific mandate for negotiating brexit, and don't seem to have a coherent plan. for something this big, there should be a general election. let everyone state their intentions and let the people decide who they want to lead them through this.
