I know we have had outstanding individual medal performances for Team GB over the year but have we ever had a team that ha excelled itself in performances away from home in any Olympics?
To think back to how bleak it was in Atlanta compared to now, certainly lottery funding has played a hugely significant part in raising standard. But I don't think we've dominated any Olympic sport as much our cycling team has done. Certainly now I would think they themselves have to be contenders for Team of the Year at the BBC awards in December.

Those in charge of GB cycling should also be given the job of running the FA or maybe even running the country.
