Maximum Conviction(2012)
A by the numbers actioner starring Steven Segal and Steve Austin. An ex black ops agent has to keep two female prisoners from being kidnapped by a gang of mercenaries.A few good fist fights and gunplay here and there can't hide the fact that this film is very average, not a patch on Segal's late 80s and early 90s work.Former pro wrestler Steve Austin carries the acting side of things with another solid and believable performance.

The Vengeance Of Fu Manchu(1967)
Christopher Lee stars as the evil Fu Manchu, who plots the demise of his arch rival,Inspector Smith of Scotland Yard.Despite some clichéd and outdated views of the oriental, director Jeremy Summers manages to keep it all moving along nicely and gets another good performance from the late, great Christopher Lee.

Legend of the Werewolf(1975)
A boy is raised by wolves and then displayed as an attraction at a circus.Despite some pretty impressive makeup effects and the presence of greats such as Peter Cushing,Ron Moody and Hugh Griffith, director Freddie Francis cannot lift this above average.

Metallica : Some Kind of Monster(2004)
An insightful documentary about the struggles that the world's most successful heavy metal band were dealing with in the period from 2001 to 2003.You don't even need to be a fan of their music to appreciate this as its more of a study about personal relationships and dealing with childhood problems that had been swept away and ignored.Joe Berlinguer and Bruce Sinofsky put the film together after recording over 2000 hours of footage.
