^ ...Because certain girls specifically request that their threads be located in there. It is supposed to be a section devoid of the harsher criticisms of the rest of the forum. Seems some babes feel they need this protection - poor dears. In there everyone can pretend that critical judgements are not an intrinsic part of all service industries. It's utopia! And to paraphrase Monty Python "it is a dull place."

AFAICS criticism of babes is frowned upon on the main forum pretty much, let alone the Fan(boy)zones. If you aren't flamed by fanboys the mods may even step in. Guess it is inevitable though when the forum lacks independence from the channels.

We are independent from the channels, but we have to step in when people are acting like twats, or risking our access to copyrighted material, 'cos, you know, we need permission to have it.
