Specialized are claiming the photos of the damaged bike were of Contador's spare which got tangled up with the bikes on another team car...make of that what you will. The official line is that Dirty Bertie fell off of his own accord.

Meanwhile, Cancellara has abandoned the tour today.

2015 Tour De France started yesterday(Sat 4th July) highlights at 7pm every night at ITV4. Rohan Dennis won individual time trial by 5 secs from Tony Martin.

Of main contenders V Nibali finished 7 secs ahead by Chris Froome who finished 8 secs ahead of Contador and 11 secs ahead of Nairo Quintana

Chris Froome takes the yellow jersey, and leads the Tour by one second.

Tony Martin the race leader broke his collarbone in a late crash on 6th stage.

Daniel Teklehaimanot becomes 1st African to wear King of the Mountains jersey

if martin does not make it to the start line tomorrow then froome takes the yellow jersey. I think froome would have wanted to fight martin for the yellow jersey.

Martin has abandoned the race. He needs immediate surgery on his collar bone.


The way things are going, they'll be fighting to stay out of the Yellow Jersey!

Hmm. I'm saying nothing about Chris Froome being born in Nairobi
