The sofa is a much more responsive performer - the platforms just lie there and take it motionless and unresponsive.
They might get a little bit of oil on them but that's more by accident than design.
The sofa is properly accommodating and much more pliable and has a lot more give and take.

Sigh. These producers. Just don't know what they're doing do they.
Ashley wasn't working for them on the platform , so cut to Preeti after half an hour - OK, fair enough mix it up - but dear oh dear Preeti's on the pool table when the sofa's CRYING out to be used.

Surprise, surprise, after all the usual "restarting the show" and giving a countdown etc "nobody's on the phone" ..... it's cos there's no sofa action, dummies !

Meanwhile, in the sofa-less office, if I was asked to describe the expressions on their faces : Lily is anxiously thinking "Is this phone actually working?" and Jada's just looking thoroughly unimpressed at the whole situation - probably at the thought of having to try and do her trademark bendy-flexible workout routine without the comfort of a good sofa to take the strain.

Oh dear.
I see now we've brought back the little "hostess with the mic" in a little box on the screen distracting us from the main action telling us about all the goodies on store on Cams and BSX etc.
Jada's been roped in for this role.
But I know what you're thinking : is she at least delivering this promotional spiel from the comfort of a good sofa ?
