How is that good? He has proven himself as a world class Keeper with bags of experience and World Cup CL medals? Mignolet has shown how terrible he is.. constant mistakes, scared, no communication, nervous.. he is a liability... Bringing him in on a free to get Mignolet to book his ideas up and give some decent competition is a no brainer...

You need to open your eyes and see that Liverpool are in a shambles at the minute, the way you always defend the club is beyond stupid..

I'm not saying we aren't bad at the moment , I'm just saying Valdes is shite and you can't put much stock in his World Cup and Euro's medals as he was the back up and played no part in the tournaments .

I can also name 6 Premier League keepers we could get who are way better than him

Tim Krul - Newcastle

Neil Alexander - Cardiff , proved his ablity in premier League last season and was one of their few bright spots .

Brad Guzan - Villa

Asmir Begovic - Stoke

Kasper Schmeichel - Leicester

Hugo Lloris - Spurs

And as a long shot Joe Hart as City seem to be willing to replace him .

As for Europe we could try :

Simone Scuffet - Udinese , Good young Italian keeper .

Sergio Romero - Sampdoria , Argentina's No1

Anthony Lopes - Lyon

Steve Mandanda - OM

Salvatore Sirigu - PSG

Ron-Robert Zieler - Hannover 96

René Adler - Hamburg

Oliver Baumann - Hoffenheim

Mitchell Langerak - Dortmund , Australian , another good young keeper .

We could have had ochoa on a free who is also way better than mignolet but we didnt even show interest.

And if we are going to spend money for a new keeper which we desperately need Roberto from Olympiacos is a very good keeper

liverpool are a replica of tottenham all we need to do is buy there shirts and name anfield white hart line then tottenham fans will have another place to watch there team

I don't blame Balotelli at all, I blame Rodgers for buying a player that doesn't fit into his system at all just because he was going on the cheap and nobody else wanted him...

Steve Mandanda is a decent keeper. Look, I will be honest when Ballotelli came my first thought was this is a decent purchase. Then since the season has progressed I thought why did we not buy Wilfried Bony who Swansea were obviously trying to sell in the summer.

His blind committment to Mignolet is strange and we are beginning to see the first signs of the inexperience of Rodgers.He will get through it but it may be at the expense of not qualifying for the Champions League next season.

His commitment to Lovren is ridiculous aswell.. as for Him not having anymore money to spend in January, well I don't blame the owners, look what he's just wasted it on in the last window...
