Given all the hyping this game is getting in the run up to its release I can almost guarantee its going to be frustrating, repetitive and nowhere near as good as you will expect. No decent weapons and an alien leaping out of dark shadows might create tension but I also want the feeling of advancement in a game. Can't see this delivering on that front.
Sorry but I want a bloody big torch attached to a bloody big alien blasting machine gun, preferably attached to an armoured mech suit!!

I agree bytor, It was the same with Outlast, Daylight, PT is being released soon and now Alien, if you have played 1 of them you have played them all, running around in the dark with no weapons and hiding... if they gave you some guns or more things to kill and shoot at it would be a lot more fun... after a few hours the games are not even scary anymore.

Found the game really cheap second hand so am gonna give it a try,

Not as bad as IGN and Gamespot made it out to be even tho am at the early stage of the game lol.

It can get a bit repetitive, but I am enjoying it overall. I like that it has at least tried to be a bit different and your character isn't just a pure bad ass. Few nice touches for kinect to. Having said that, I have just ordered the remastered Halo and I am looking forward to blasting the shit out of things :-)
