Can't complain about the result if it stays 2-1. Suarez is simply world class and that's something we have to accept with England. We just don't possess such players. Overall it's been an exciting game with both teams having their moments.

It was always a tough group for England only 5 teams have won more games then they have lost against England and Italy & Uruguay are 2 of them.

English football needs a re-design. Until the amount of foreign owners, managers and players is reduced in the premier league, we will continue to see poor performances from the national team.

Football needs a re-design in relation to its ethics. It's no longer possible for the referee to manage 20 players cheating - like a mother trying to manage 20 squabbling children. Name one other mainstream sport where cheating is so prevalent and encouraged?

We got undone by two better sides. Can't get angry at the England team for simply not being good enough.

I had to laugh before the game when Glenn Hoddle said Joe Hart was "head & shoulders" above other English keepers.

Fair enough to criticise the poor talent chosen to play for England...but you follow Joey Barton? Immense player of course so he has the right to slag off fellow professionals. That guy is nothing more than a self promoting moronic player with modest ability. A year or two before he's threatening Ant and Dec in the Jungle. At least England tried their best and were only beaten by two class goals.
