OK, Whovian type experts, a very real and serious question. Why is Peter Cushing not noted any where? He played Doctor Who in two films Paul McGann but one TV film yet he gets on the poster.

Not that I am in any way a 'Whovian' expert but it might be because they are celebrating 50 years of Dr Who on BBC TV. Cushing, as you say, made the two movies for the big screen.

because the films were just remakes of shows that had been shown on tv already, so as not being new shows they are regarded as a tribute to the tv show and not part of the tv show,
as for Paul McGann that counts as it was a tv pilot made for US tv that sadly was not picked up for a full tv series, if is important to not the Paul McGann then had a full run as the 8th dr in audio form so was a full dr

RE: Dr Who
on the iplayer at the moment there is a 5 minute vid showing Paul McGann's regeneration in to the 9/unknown Dr during the time war, it makes some nice references to the 8th Dr audio series, and to the shows tv past as well, a must watch to help set up the 50th anniversary show

But he was still the doctor and Mgann only made a film, as far as I know. I don't see where making it for the cinema should make a difference.
