That's great. if cherry wasn't fired, then more power to her. I just find it incredibly timely that she and Annie return just as Ice is exiting stage right.
I'll admit I'm not well informed anymore in the goings on behind the scenes at ab, (that was the whole point of my first letter/rant) but man!! Cherry sure got back from her personal time away at a really convenient time for Asian Connections, didn't she? Oh hey, and Annie too!...Please, please don't tell me you're that naive.. Those two were offered their jobs back to sate appetite and stifle the ire of the shrinking demographic of non-shemale seeking viewers who would have been furious and stopped viewing if Ice's Firing (call it what it was) had been left to fester without a band-aid.

As for Ice and a/c reaching an 'impasse', please tell me why it happened in the middle of the day? in the middle of her shift!?? That doesn't sound to me like a professional difference of opinion, I could be wrong but to me that suggests that she was either fired or quit in a volatile incident.

And as for Ice not being too fussed about it and needing a break. I hope to god your right. I hope that ab wasn't her only lifeline in a country riddled with poverty and corruption. I genuinely hope that she quit and is headed off to bigger and better things, but something tells me that a/c meant alot to her. She was hands down the hardest working and most constant of all the ab presenters and she sometimes worked hours that bordered on the obscene. I highly doubt that she would put the show down lightly unless in lieu of a better offer.

And so I've said my piece. Like I said, I hope that you're right and I'm wrong but I had to speak up. If Ice is suffering for lack of income through this, as someone else has opined, well then I feel really bad for her, because ALL she tried to do was provide the highest quality of entertainment for us. And she deserves MUCH better than that.

It's not coincidence both Cherry & Anne have returned to AC . Have you noticed how the shows have been toned down (hardly any movement , pre +- 9pm) ?
Both Cherry & Anne were reluctant to even strip down to their undies last time they were on.
I think they've been re-hired just for that reason . I.E.They won't do anything "controversial"before 9pm.

lol, no, although it seems there are more shemales on the screen at times, it's probably just because they outnumber the real girls now...

Maybe it is not such a 'new' direction, more a return to the 'prime' direction as it seems that AC was reported for continually breaking the most cardinal daytime law of 'thou shalt not talk smut in the daytime...'

and as mickster has mentioned, no doubt you have seen the difference in the show, it's not the AC we have all come to know and like. Again there are undoubtedly plenty of people who feel this is still fine, and that's great, each to their own. This has been going on for some time with it seems Ice getting the brunt of it, as she was always dressed the best for her customers, but many times she was forced to go and change because of looking 'too sexy'!!! For one this is crazy, there was no difference to what she wore and other daytime channels being broadcast and also no parity with other performers there as they sometimes wore equally revealing attire but yet nothing was said about that...

So let's hope Ice has a nice break and if she wants to return sometime in the future, that they welcome her with open arms.

So you know this for a fact? Someone told you this? I'm not being smart, I genuinely would like to think that's how it went down. But if you're only speculating like me, its more likely that her departure was an ugly and hostile one.

But in any case if you are right I think we can all agree that the network and her bosses treated ice like shit while raking in her revenue. She danced on the knifes edge to be a good entertainer and got cut. If it truly was her decision to leave these ass wipes, I hope she never comes back. As I said before, its a sinking ship.

Well now that we have seen Anne on twice this week and Cherry has also reappeared it would be fantastic to see the lovely Minzie put in an appearance. She was always a Day Show girl but my god she was gorgeous. Now if that were to happen I would be in heaven..

My sentiments exactly Weeman. if you (KalEl) know enough of what happened there at the studio to say how Ice was fired, why be so vague? when you say "Admittedly, Ice's boss could have handled it better" what does that mean!? did he curse? did she cry? did he punch her in the mouth? how much do you know about this?
I think you're telling me these are facts when really, it's just hear-say from the same bastards who said to the girls of ab: "If you don't work on the hardcore show, (i.e. sell yourself more than you're willing) you're fucking fired." Was that written in the presenters' contract? Or was this just pure bullying?

Those girls don't have a union, they don't have anyone to stop their bosses from using bullying tactics like that. all they have is the viewers and what we will stand for.

As much as KalEl says otherwise I don't think Ice was politely asked to leave, that it was some official executive decision during a round table conference with her, this happened iN THE MIDDLE OF HER SHIFT! (think of what it would take for you to quit your job for years in the middle of your shift!) And i know she wasn't happy with it. I'm writing all these posts because I'm angry at the way these women are being treated and kalEl, you should be angry too. Ice didn't deserve to be fired,(or forced to quit by any means) but I know shit happens and if she truly made the decision on her own, then i know she has the resources to make it elsewhere.

...all i want to know, harkens back to my original post:

KalEl, who told you these things? how do you know them to be facts? and even if it was someone working in the studio that told you, how can you trust their version of events after seeing how they've repeatedly mishandled the girls of a/c?
