so its the arrogance of the English media to suggest he would rather play for england than his own country especially as they are almost certain to qualify being 5 points ahead in a really strong group with Serbia and croatia and scotland and wales

Pietersen has taken exception to Wilshere's comments on Tuesday that only English people should play for England.

i think to be fair to the lad his comments were off the cuff but are inline with the english national game and how it is. it's a complex issue and i think kp's out of order to have a go at jack. his (kp's) comment imply that jack's opinions are xenophobic which is untrue.

I'm a season ticket holder at Cardiff and come from a long line of Bluebird fans. My late grandfather saw their last game in the old Division 1 in 1962.

Going from blue shirts to red was done for business reasons, as the game is huge out east and red is a far more popular and marketable colour in their cultures. Although the fans were pissed off it was a price worth paying if it got us into the premiership.

We've got no problem with the owner making economic decisions as long as he leaves the playing side alone. Sacking Moody crosses a line and Malky has to worry that hes going to be looking over his shoulder all the time from now on. This new bloke hes brought in is apparantly only 23! WTF can he know about scouting?

The realistic aim for this year was to finish 16th/17th on the basis of our solid home form and after we beat Man city we were confident but the performance against Newcastle especially in the first half was just shite. Luckily Sunderland and Palace seem to have booked two of the relegation places so even at this early stage its looking like any one from four or five but if Malky goes we could go into freefall.

Good to see Aaron Ramsay playing so well and making such a complete recovery from what looked a career threatening injury. Shows that the UK has got some talented players every bit the equal of many a foreign player.

Playing regular football at any level throughout a full season would be an
