Not been well for a while, but 60 still seems like no age

Was only watching "Not the 9'oclock News" yesterday....eeek very sad.

Sad to hear the news, Not The Nine O'Clock News was a bit before my time but I do remember watching his comedy show Smith and Jones which left me in stiches on many an occassion.

Mel Smith can also claim fame to introducing Queen onto the stage at Live Aid 1985.

RIP to a great comedian who was so versatile that he was able to move with the times which is testimy to the fact that he never suffered the same fate of being left behind which the likes of Benny Hill and co did

He was one half of a great british comady duo and multi talented both in front and behind the camera.such a sad loss at not much more than middle aged.

Tragic news regarding Mel Smith, a fabulous comedian and man of many talents.

Loved his monologues with Griff Rhys-Jones, and Not the Nine O'clock News showcased his wonderful comedic talent to a tee.

Father Christmas will be a lot more poignant this year.

To be honest, not someone I ever found funny, same goes for griff, and his films where not too good either, but 60 is way to young to die.
