RE: The End of the Road
Sorry Mido but i disagree, Ofcom have toned these channels down far to much over the years, and they've made up rules as they go along knowing full well that no one will challenge them!
It's my opinion if you still want quality entertainment and give us something to watch and enjoy and in some cases possibly call in, then you must spice up the current content.
However as i mentioned in my previous post, i do stress that they shouldn't over step the mark, they must only push the boundaries thats all.

RE: The End of the Road
Last night I was more interested in watching Sexstation TV than I was in the babe channels.

The line up's across the whole board on paper looked great but that's as far as I'll put it. I think you know we've seen better days when people start to post just what a loss Dionne Daniels will be to the babe channels.

What the fuck .................bladewave A model that just lyes still like a slug and hardly ever moves is a loss to the babe channels, just how far have standards slipped now.

Also across at Studio66 we had a daytime model in the name of Hannah Martin doing well a dayshow. Just who is running the shows these days, one would suggest it must be ofcom themselves.

No complaints anymore or investigations pending, all channels have now been firmly brought into line. As for the naked stints I seen last night. I never ever thought that watching a beautiful naked model could possibly turn out to be boring. Well it is when its the same old tried and tested and trusted positions night after night. Watching Lori and Jada on Babestation last night was like watching Groundhog Day. Seen it all before.

Same sets, same positions and you'd be forgiven if you thought they were actually showing repeats last night as you just knew exactly what the next move would be.

Some people always suggest why not just put all the shows online instead. Not me - I want to see all the babes in all their glory on my telly. Call me old-fashioned but webstreams just don't match the quality that the telly does.

Also it's worth pointing out too that watching the babe channels on the telly leaves no trace on your history either, not to mention it's just a hell of a lot easier that pissing around looking for the webstreams instead, not to mention the fact that the bastards have a habit of freezing.

Nope I say keep it all on the telly. But I will say that the good times are well and truly behind us and I don't see them returning in a hurry either as censorship just looks to be getting tighter.

I can't remember the last time I seen a show and seen something that left me thinking - I hope ofcom never seen that one. Sorry to say it but I think we've already seen the last hurrah Cool

I agree with you SB, however please forgive my optimism but i don't think the glory days have long gone. Maybe i grasping at straws or reaching for that rainbow, i just hope our babe channels can hold out until the Ofcom scum goes awayBig Grin

to early to write the babeshows off just yet, cant see them ever returning to how they were at their best, but they are still getting a good amount of calls each night and as long as that is the case, think they will be around for a while yet

has it not occurred that the stations could end up out of business if issued with a substantial fine and then you would have no FREE wank shows at all.
I stand by my point this is free, you arent paying for it so you get what your given

Quite a statement friend,

The fact is that if all the producers stood back and took the flack from (the so called saviours of our debased society OFCOM) then there would be no adult themed tv whatsoever.

I can remember the time when anything remotely sexy,or nakedness, was shown ,was removed from public viewing and you would have to get a continental copy of a film to see anything worth watching.

Erotic film stars were put in prison for starring in these films.

Then they got rid of the god-fearing person that was responsible for censoring everything and low and behold,we,the public were at last able to see what our european neighbors had been watching for years.

Then along came this second batch of moralistic morman twits that only want people to watch what they would watch.

Giving ,children ,as an excuse for TELLING adults what they can and can not watch.

If the producers of the adult channels stood up in union to these bigots, then we might see the programs that we were able to see back in the seventies. bladewave

RE: The End of the Road
when was the last even moderately decent 2 for 1 on the babechannels it's felt like ages? the last one i saw was Jennifer jade and lacey lorenzo about 4 months ago i think which was ok but still poor compared to a few years ago

the babechannels used to be something that i would look forward to watching most nights after the usual boredom of day to day life, now even the babechannels are boring but if the babechannels ended i think a lot of people would be sad to see them go

Looks like Rammy Rascal is correct yet again.
With BabestationX moving online he is correct that Babe Channels are moving online. Cool

RE: The End of the Road
So, as I suggested in the first post of this thread (regardless of what Rammy thinks) OFCOM are indeed impacting the viability of the babe channels and probably significantly. We're becoming increasingly bored of the uninventive output.

So, what to do? Well, to start with, they have to want to change... But will they? Somethings got to give of that I'm certain or we will see casualties.

Going exclusively online (and I take SB's point about quality atm - but trust me that could be fixed if they throw some cash at it) would at least free the channels from OFCOM's grip to a great extent.

Hard to say what may happen after the next election. The Tories will take a good hiding for sure and there may be a hung parliament with a more 'sexually-liberal' overall government. Currently the twats at the helm pander to the Daily Mail mind set completely and most disgustingly they justify everything in the name of 'protecting the children'. This is just a con. There doing it to force their views and screwed up mindset on adult citizens via the back door (Let's not confuse the issue - everyone is fully behind wiping out all forms of child porn and abuse !). The current lib-dims are just lying freeloading tossers and we were all duped by them!

OFCOM are 100% winning the game which is what the the junket loving wankers crave... Were so losing it along with our freedoms, liberty and *tax-payers money...

Thanks

Shylok

Unless the channels themselves decide to remain on Sky and Freeview in September 2014 and if they do that then it is their decision, unless it is the decision of Ofcom.

Well i still think Rammy is wromg, BSX was a encrypted adult content Dutch regulated channel, most of the stuff that was broadcast was recorded films anyway , i thought Rammy was talking about free to air phone in babe channels and not encrypted pay per view adult channels . .

Anyway like iv'e posted before only time will tell if i'm correct in that the babe channels will still be broadcasting on TV after September next year or if Rammy's prediction is correct that the babe channels will not be on Sky or freeview after September next year and will just be on line like he originally stated .

I both agree and disagree with portions of your post Shylock.

That's not neccessarily the case. As has been mentioned, the general economic climate could be having a far greater impact than Ofcom's taming of the content. Yes, we on this forum are dissatisfied with the content of the current babeshows, but we represent a very small subset of the paying public who finance the channels.

As I said before, I don't personally see a future for the channels if they go exclusively online. There are a ton of porn sites out there, and only a very very very small handful that do the kind of shows the babechannels do, where you ring the girls up. Probably the nearest thing is the camsites like MFC, Chaturbate etc Competing with those would be tough, and what's in it for the girls? Most of the channels offer online cams now, and many of the girls having tasted that are now going freelance on MFC or Adultwork etc Why would they stick with the channels if they went online, might as well go to the bigger established sites.
Also part of the attraction of the channels is the range of girls they have, including the 'lads mag' models. As has been said before, many of those girls would not be interested in doing anything harder than they currently do, some won't even go topless on the tease hours, or talk dirty on the night shows as it's outside their comfort zone, they certainly won't be dropping their knickers and spreading their legs online.
Also many of the big established porn sites already do regular cam shows featuring some of their star names, and do it far better, with better equipment and production than the babeshows cam offerings, so if you want to 'talk dirty to a porn star', better to do it there than through the channels offering online.

For me the current format of the babeshows is very much dependant on being on tv, being on tv is a fundamental part of what makes the channels what they are, and what makes them unique, and what generates their revenue in a competitive arena (all you need is a tv and a phone to get involved, nothing more), if it moved online it would become a totally different product, it would have to become a totally different product, competing with others already better equipped and established in that area, without the inherent publicity of being transmitted into every home in the country and easily available by a sinmple press on the remote, and if that was the product the channels wanted to put out, they could be doing that already alongside the tv shows, and getting a foothold there already, but the offerings they actually put out are amateurish by comparison to the competition, with poor quality and unreliable streams, and a schedule that is erratic, unreliable, and therefore completely unprofessional.

*Ofcom is funded by fees from industry for regulating broadcasting and communications networks, and direct funding (called ‘grant-in-aid) from the government (i.e. your tax).

Now here's the real rub. Most people immediately attack the channels owners and producers for failing to take on Ofcom and cowing to their demands and putting out the tame shows we see today, but the simple fact is that if we want to defeat Ofcom, and win back our freedom to control what kind of material WE, as adults, can be allowed to view on the tv's that WE pay the license fees for, then at some point , we all have to take some responsibility and do something about it ourselves.

There are only a handful of channels out there broadcasting, their voice is miniscule, but collectively, we have hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of voices. Ultimately, Ofcom is a public body, and we are the public, it is ultimately us that can make them change direction, or overthrow them completely, whether that's directly through engaging in their consultation exercises, or indirectly through letters to MP's etc
Sadly despite all the bluff and bluster on these forums, only 800 people were prepared to even sign the recent petition against Ofcom. That is why Ofcom is winning, not because the channels won't take them on, but because we the public are too complacent, too lethargic, to even sign a simple petition to make our voices heard. That's where the real battle lies, overcoming the apathy before it is too late. they are censoring our tv's, they are now attempting to censor our internet (Cameron is on tv later today attacking google under the guise of stopping peadophilia images), if we aren't careful, moving online will become a pointless exercise as they'll have that covered already as well!
