Manchester United FC

Darren Fletcher, 29, has apparently undergone a final make-or-break operation that will determine whether he plays for Manchester United again. He has suffered with the bowel disease, ulcerative colitis for a number of years now. I wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery.

United have announced a 5 year deal with Aeroflot that will allow them to tap into the lucrative Russian market. With an estimated 18 million fans already in Russia it has the potential to be big business.

New Chief Exec Ed Woodward has left the far east tour to apparently seal the deal on big name signings. No names have been mentioned.

I wonder if it could be Fabregas or Fellaini on the way to Man United or perhaps to deal with the sale of Rooney.

It is for an incoming player, apparently. Nothing to do with Rooney. No idea what player though.

^^^ There was talk today that Utd were targetting someone as well as Fabregas. No-one seems to know who this player is, but if that deal fails, then Fellaini was their 'plan B'. The point being made was that Fellaini and Fabregas are quite similar, both attacking midfielders, so not an ideal combination, so perhaps this 'plan A' target is more a defensive midfielder.

Please please please not Fellaini - don't rate him one bit!

it sounds like its something where they have to act fast with him coming back early from the tour, alot of people seem to think its fabregas or something bigger! some even think Ronaldo or bale lol

It's not for Garay. That deal was already done, save the player accepting the terms. Time will tell I guess.
