I hear where you're coming from, but Michu was a £2m signing and Swansea look like they're going to have there highest finish ever and he helped them win the League Cup, and Man United wouldn't win the league without RVP

Suarez definately deserves player of the year, top scorer, plenty of assists, starts & finishes every game, puts in 100% all the time, very consistent... rvp hasn't scored in 6 and had a few shockers...

All I can say is after watching today there are a number of players who we need to sell in the summer, Skrtel, Jones, just not good enough every game this season Skrtel has played in he's made costly errors and he just doesn't look like he's with it, Brad Jones looks so nervous and uncertain whenever he plays, he has no command in defence either and his handling is poor. Also Johnson should not be a right back, he's great going forward but his defensive work isn't great at all, he should be a right midfielder not a right back

The money we hopefully get from selling Carroll in the summer should all be invested into our back 4 and another decent keeper. Somebody like Vorm or Julio Cesar would be good to compete with Reina for the number 1 spot, if he is still here next season that is.

Until we sort the basics out we aren't going to get top 4/5. Every game should be played like it matters, it really annoys me when we win 2 or 3 games then come up against a team we should be beating and take them for granted, play looking dis-interested and sloppy, it's happened against Stoke, West Brom, Southampton, Villa.

Brendan really needs to drill this into the players, he seems to soft for my liking. Top 4 is out of the question this season now i'd say after wins from both Everton and Arsenal.

Wanting to sell Skrtel after having ONE bad season is the same thing people have been saying about Pepe , as for Julio Cesar if you think Reina's been twitchy than Cesar is more often than not worse , just look at how he played at Inter .

Martin & Pepe have both been consistently good for the majority of their Liverpool careers . Brad Jones is a good backup for Pepe who will stay as he's stated numerous times , Johnson is a good right back/wing back and he's suited for those positions not in midfield , yes he likes to go foward but what right/left backs don't prefer going foward , if he wasn't a good enough defender than he wouldn't be England's first choice .

It seems to be that whenever we start thinking "we can perhaps make europe" we fuck up in the next game.

But the one thing Rodgers got wrong to day was starting an out-of-form Allen instead of Lucas. Allen is a pile of shit, who apparently has a shoulder injury and needs surgery so why did we bother playing him? It was to late to bring Lucas on at half-time, we needed him from the off
