I think if we played how we did the 2nd half we could have possibly won that.

Have to say I'm very glad Liverpool didn't start with Sturridge. Mind you we were sloppy letting Liverpool back in the game.

As well as being physically tired, Sterling could also be mentally tired. It can really take its toll on a young player like Sterling if he is asked to play in the vast majority of Liverpool's games especially the big ones like today against Man United.

Raheem's done great. The kid gives everything every single game, he runs himself into the ground for us. If you watch him, he's always making space for himself, wanting the ball. Even if he's not having the best game, he'll still create or make a good contribution like earlier and never gives up. He's not scared of anyone either, tough as they come for me. Sometimes have to remind myself he's only just turned 18. He'll probably get the chance to freshen up a bit now with Borini back and Sturridge but Raheem's one of the first names on the team sheet, make no mistake.

He's supposed to be a good player this lad, read some good reports. Sounds like Brendan wants a look at him in training before doing a deal... Bit strange since he's an International?
