this game is going to end badly I can see it, we look a shambles

Now that we've got that potential banana skin tie out the way,I've got to give credit to Mansfield,they definitely done themselves justice with there performance and gave us a few scares.
I would also say there 96 seat tribute was a fantastic gesture.

As a liverpool fan I am completely embarassed by what the liverpool fans were chanting at the game today. Mansfield left 96 seats empty in honour of the 96 who died yet the Liverpool fans started chanting "your support is fucking shit" I know it was only meant to be aimed at the fact Mansfield have not that many fans, but still show some RESPECT. I'm ashamed really

John Barnes summed up the goal spot on, and fairplay to mansfields manager, showed dignity, I hate the way the media are all over suarez, and ESPN were bang out of order with their commentary.

Also BBC Sport are a joke:

GOAL- Mansfield 0-2 Liverpool - Luis Suarez (59 mins)

He plays the part of a pantomime villain well doesn't he, Luis Suarez? Stewart Downing squares the ball to Suarez, his shot is well saved by Alan Marriott but Suarez snaffles up the rebound after controlling it with his hand.

Boos ring around Field Mill as Suarez cheekily kisses his hand in front of the away fans.

He always kisses his hand when he scores?!

i do agree with u on that point i never went 2 game so watched it on tv and saw the interview so fair play to him!

every single team gets a decision in favour of them or against them, it's football, The linesman who didn't spot him handling it is the same linesman who called him offside in the 90' min of the derby against Everton when he wasn't... Karma

yeah but if it was van persie u wud hav been straight on footie banter thread lol be honest

And the mancs would all be on their sticking up for him, the only difference is, if it was van persie the media would brush it under the mat and the commentators certainly wouldn't call him a cheat multiple times.

gotta agree with u on that he hasnt got the rep what suarez has got! i watched in on espn and it was keegan and barnes ex liverpool and they werent callin suarez a cheat!

But Suarez did cheat and if I were a higher up in the club I'd offer them a replay like Arsenal and Sheffield Utd had .
