Newcastle's winning run of er . . . 1 game comes to an end after a 2-0 defeat to Bordeaux.

This winning run had to come to an end at some stage I guess

Great though to be in the draw for the last 32 of the Europa League.

I predict we will get Napoli or Ajax in the draw tomorrow.

Plantini's gone totally stark raving bonkers!! Next thing you'll know is it's winner takes all competition!! So, if we pull out of EU (via the much promised referendum, but I would vote for BOJo as PM if he promises it), would we we leave UEFA too? Let's hope that this crazy idea never comes to fruition!!

Tell you what Dan mate, the one thing that Pardew does do (and does well the majority of the time), is that he gets the team he manages playing like a team. I think you guys have a good team spirit there, and that showed against Wigan on Monday night.
I listened to 606 last week and the Arsenal supporters were on like flies round a honeypot.and I think Arsenal should have played better than they did in Greece, but I do think Arsene probably hoped that there would have been a better result in the other game. might beon his way back home come end of season. and as for Chelsea?
They'll never be able to live down the the distinction of bein the first defending champions to go out at the group stages and I predict Rafa will be gone well before the end of the January window as I doubt very much Rom will not tolerate disappointing results for very much longer so he would be looking for interim manager no 2.

I've always rated Pardew as a manager - for me he's definately one of the best coaches in the premier league for man management and getting the best out of his players. Like Redknapp, Rodgers, Ferguson and Allardyce he has that way about him of inspiring his players. The players will run through brick walls for them if they asked them. I've often thought that Pardew would have been a good Wolves manager.

It sure is,up there with let's hold the world cup in a desert (Qatar)!

But they want to have the world cup in winter These people are payed shit loads of money to make decisions.......

^^^ Next bright idea, to stop all the inter-country rivalry and racism etc, at the start of the tournament all the players will line up, and the captains will pick teams one by one

how about holding the world Cup at the North Pole? That's about as permanaent a winter yuo could get!!
