Some good news for Tottenham in the transfer market, it is believed they have agreed a 16 million bid for Lyon's Hugo Lloris.

Also reports Tottenham will make an approach for Fulham's Mousa Dembele, as a replacement for Modric.

On a different note, Falcao scored a hat trick in Atletico Madrid's 4-0 win over Athletic Bilbao.

Falcao finished third top scorer behind Messi and Ronaldo last season in La Liga. It makes me wonder why none of the major clubs in Europe have made a bid for him over the summer

Falcao says that he doesn't want to move, so bidding would seem to be a waste of time.

Spurs need to realise its not a keeper they need its a striker, they have more keepers than strikers atm... AVB will be gone by end of the season, he shouldnt have left porto, he had hulk falcao, varela, moutinho, pereira, james rodriguez, if he stayed n made 1 or 2 more signings there he could have possibly won the champions league

Actually they do need a keeper, another striker and a replacement for modric, Brad Friedel who is the first keeper is 42 this season, Gomes has pretty much lost his place due to errors and lastly Cudicini is a decent keeper but again pushing on a bit and is decent in goal but not good enough as a first choice keeper.

Friedel is still a class keeper tho, gomez isnt that bad as everybody makes out, every keeper makes mistakes, its just harry seemed to have it in for gomez n dropped him for weeks if he made an error..

Yes Friedel is a class keeper but as i said before his 42 this season he even admitted himself that his finding it harder, as good as he is at some point there gonna have to get a replacement, Gomez isn't totally bad but he isn't a solid keeper, if he was a solid keeper why would spurs bring in Friedel to displace Gomez as the first choice keeper.
