One of the few people who has actually defended her is....Victoria Pendleton, which says a lot about Quick Vic imho.

laura trott the new female face of track cycling also she is a sprinter by trade not an endurance rider which is needed for the omnium.

i wouldnt exactly say shes a sprinter by trade, she won gold in the team pursuit not the team sprint! it just happens she has great speed for the short events like the flying lap and the time trial and is faster than people like hammer and edmondson and whitten! but she can certainly hold her own in all the events of the omnium!

alison felix makes it looks so effortless when she runs!
