No it isn't. GB and Brazil have both qualified for the quarter finals already. Tonight's match has no significance other than who wins the group and who finishes second.

Looking back on the game I'm beginning to wonder if Brazil really wanted to win that game as I understand it, the coach didn't want to leave Cardiff. It is a shame though that if either GB team were to win the Gold Medal, there won't be a GB team in 2016 to defend it. If GB can put together good hockey teams without the problems faced by football, then the FA's of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland should be ashamed of themselves. it happpens only once every four years. What better way is there for young players to gain senior international tournament experience?

Obviously not.

GB isn't a member of FIFA and therefore can't appear in FIFA rankings.

I'm really getting annoyed with this Debuchy transfer. I thought we might have got him after Lille got a new right back, but now we can't agree a fee. Debuchy says he wants to leave, but we can't sort out a suitable transfer fee. I suppose, they don't want another Cabaye situation and see Debuchy leave for peanuts

the olympics is not recognised by fifa therefore clubs can refuse to release players over the age of 23 but must release the u23 players. newcastle refused to allow cisse and ba to play for senegal. therefore there no ranking points given same in the cycling. i think the women side had a better tournament than the men due having 75k at wembely and beating brazil, one of best women sides in the world, at ricoh arena in coventry.

I'm hearing Santi Cazorla will make his move to Arsenal next week, which I think will cost Arsenal 15 million. A good signing for Arsenal if it happens, they might finally end their 7 year trophy drought next season. I think they will surprise a few people and make a strong challenge for the Premiership title

IMO Arsenal are still playing catch up with the Mancs, they lost fabregas and nasri and never replaced them. Arsene has only now started buying players but United have also got stronger and City will be buying as well so Arsenal need some more top sighning to fight for the prem.... Oh and they need to keep RVP.
