The handthong is not so safe currently as strictly speaking the girls are not meant to be seen as 'touching' themselves (they are allowed to use a hand to shield the genitals), and ofcom have already chastised one channel for a girl doing this.

The hand thong is allowed by Ofcom and seems to be safe , it's how it's done that Ofcom have issues with , so long as straight fingers are used and the girls don't stimulate themselves or apply undue pressure seems to be OK , they are not allowed to use a cupped hand or apply undue pressure to the genital area while doing so , thus indicating that they are stimulating them selves with the hand , Storm got in trouble for a girl applying pressure to her genitals while using the hand thong in a explicit position were it would be easy for the hand to slip , or something like that i believe and not just because she was using the hand thong .

Not really what I'd call 'upheaval', more of an evolution and growth.

I take it you referring to the evolution and growth of the OSG 's , I've not seen much growth elsewhere , not so long ago Elite used to have programming on 3 TV viewing platforms Sky , Freeview and freesat , now sadly they have gone back to being a Sky only Company , they have also lost top babes like Georgie Darby , Sophia knight , Lori Buckby as well , Elite is not really growing much as far as i can see .

they should in fact be encouraging the use of the handthong. after all, what's less likely to slip and offer a glimpse of clunge - a flat hand or a cupped hand held firmly in place?

Ironically since Elite has gone back to being a SKY only show the content has become more tame which baffles me especially when the rules are a lot more strict when it comes to freeview, 2 massive loss's to this channel this year has been Lori Buckby and Sophia Knight, so far it's been a terrible 2012 for this once proud channel.

disagree completely, first of all lori left elite last december not this year get your facts right again. also sophia hasnt left elite, she will still be shooting content for elite website and hopefully will do the odd guest wouldnt say elite have had a terrible 2012 at all, far from it when theyve added rosie lee, paige turnah, lolly catherine, clare richards, the massive coup of gracie lewis doing nights and added babes to the day roster too. also have been the good appearances from the guest us pornstars too

whilst not as good as previous years at the moment 2012 i think has been good for elite so far

let's be honest - apart from (possibly) RLC, 2012 hasn't been a vintage year for anyone so far

Rammy what are you Ofcom in disguise, you have a go at Babestation for doing good shows and when it doesn't you are almost gloating about the fact when the crux of the matter is we need a strong Elite to give it a run for their money, I don't agree with Elite's self censorship and from somebody who remembers it in their heyday it was a great show that very few could compete with or match, apart from the odd good show this year from Elite overall I'll still say despite the new models that's it's still been a very poor 2012 so far, believe me I would much rather be praising Elite but when you see the state that's it's become it's hard not to be critical.

well agree to disagree sb , i think elite's had a good 2012 so far and is nowhere near as bad as you say it is. also ive had a go at babestation if i think its had a bad night, if bs has had a good night ill praise it. you say i gloat when bs has a bad night i dont think i do, i just say why its been a bad night,

don tingley, im adding why elite have stricter rules than elite here, elite come under ofcom rules, whereas bs largely are under dutch ofcom rules which are less strict

It is about the callers, that is what their business is. I am a caller and happy with what elite provides. You want xxx shows then the internet can give you a whole new world of explicitness.

All I can say is I hope we all find a time in the not to near distant future that we're talking about Elite for the right reasons. 2010 I had nothing but praise for this channel, I sincerely hope for a change in fortunes, I want to see this channel strong once more, I'm not happy with the odd good show once in a bluemoon, it needs to be more consistant. As for the if you want porn go on the internet argument that's just defeats the whole argument and serves no purpose to the discussion which is specifically aimed at Elite TV and nothing else.
