Er, I think this is what would in any other industry/sector be called customer feedback. If people can't express their opinions of the way the shows are going on this forum, where can they do it? Yes, in the end people will just vote with their feet (or in this case remotes and dialling fingers) but it doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to express their opinions. The people who come on this forum are generally those who have a interest in improving the quality, and you would think the providers would be interested in their opinions.
