they are supposed to get the stadium announcer to tell the fans to stop the racist chanting otherwise the match will be stopped, if they keep doing it then the referee has to abandon the game.

Whats ridiculous is CSKA have said nothing unusual went on during the game and they heard nothing out of the ordinary which go to show that they are used to hearing racist chant every week..

Is as bad as when Zenit say they do not want to sign any more Black players...

Maybe now FiFA will realise what a daft decision it was to award the World Cup to Russia and act accordingly. And UEFA need to throw CSKA out of the competition. To me they need to be tough this time this behaviour cannot be tolerated much longer by visiting teams. By the time it is Russia's turn to stage the event, there will be a new generation of fans of those now who will still do the same thing and the Russian FA needs to act too. If UFA ban Russian teams from entering CL & League competitions then that will make the Russian clubs start to address the problem.

I don't think they can do that under the existing rules. The current punishment is a full or partial stadium closure.

UEFA's sanctions against clubs for racist behaviour this season:
Partial stadium closures - Lazio, Lech Poznan, Piast Gliwice, APOEL Nicosia, HNK Rijeka.
Full stadium closures - Dinamo Zagreb, Legia Warsaw, Honved.

UEFA CAN change the rules, it is their responsibility.... the existing rules do not matter, if players a getting racial abuse the rules should change immediately or the teams should refuse to play....

Poor recruitment in the summer is what did for him. Holloway will be back in football before too long though I'm sure.

He should be a commentator or pundit on BBC would be great, and more entertaining than all they have now!

that's what I meant UEFA should realise this is a growing problem and in my opinion needs to be addressed with stiffer penalties I'm sure you all remember how long British clubs suffered after the Heysel incident back in the 80's now Russian clubs should be banned for maybe two years and ordered to get their house in order.
It sickens me every time that there are still a few idiots either at home or abroad who think chanting racist comments is clever, it isn't,
it is the lowest form of abuse any human being can suffer. Toure was right to tell the officials what was going on. Why the hell didn't they do anything? I know the last thing FIFA would want is a boycott from Russia in 2018 but that is exactly what will happen if they don't move the tournament.
