I can understand teams wanting to sign him, but for £85m when you already have the worlds Star player who scored 202 goals in 202 games for you is needless, more than anything they signed him to make a statement to Barcelona that they are the "biggest" club in the world to show their financial power, they don't need him really at all unless they know is Ronaldo not signing a new deal yet, maybe they are preparing for if he leaves which could be soon.

Tottenham may still owe Bale his wage for August, so in theory they could deduct up to 2 weeks pay as a fine when they do pay him. But if Bale wasn't formally notified of any fine it's likely to be too late to fine him now.

Talksport tonight are talking so much shit now there judging new players only after a couple games and its still early days to the season, surely you can't judge a player until the end of the season and even possibly the start next season before they can be judged.
