Good result for the gooners, beating Man City 3-1 in the Super Match thing in Helsinki.

City looked a bit disjointed, lacking in ideas, they may have some work to do to get it together for the new season.

I don't get why we're 3rd in that list. We only have a few genuine rivals.

The rest are just little clubs that cling onto us because we're the 2nd biggest club in England.

Hats off to Arsenal for the Suarez offers. I don't think they seriously thought they'd bag him, but a supplementary intention would definitely been to agitate Suarez and his agent, and in the process maybe provoke a bigger fish into making a more substantial bid. At the very least their offers will have made Suarez's head spin, and will impact somehow on how he performs next season, if he's still at Anfield. Arsene Wenger basically went out to bat for all the other Premier League teams. Chapeau! If you can't snare a player outright, aim to try and neutralize the effectiveness of the player. It's not always pretty work, and often invites name-calling, but psychological warfare is one of the football manager's ulterior jobs.

Or Wenger has just failed miserably and wasted his time and bull shitted all the Arsenal fans into thinking he was gonna actaully spend some money but instead has spent no money and still hasn't realised his defence is shocking and he needs a new keeper..... what happend to him signing Higuian? Cesar? Villa? he feeds the fans rubbish just so he doesn't have to spend.

I agree entirely with this. Think that has been the intention of Chelsea too over Rooney as well.
