Murphy got to 9-5 before Ronnie suddenly made a comeback to 9-8, and could have taken the 18th, but Murphy finished up winning 10-8.

Shanghai Masters already started today!

Mark Williams thumped Graeme Dott 9-1 to win the German Masters, his 20th ranking title. Apparently, it was Dott's 1st such final in 8 years.

BBC Red Button text seems to have phased Snooker out so they can do Winter Olympics stuff instead Sad

Was watching the Gibraltar Open this evening (it being a free country). Great match between Jack Lisowski and upcoming Iranian Soheil Vahedi, fast & furious almost all the way to a black ball finish in the decider, which Lisowski won. The sorts of genuinely quick players where, win or lose, it's all over in about 10 minutes Tongue

The scheduling of rounds seemed a bit bizarre, they've still got the Last 16 to whittle through tomorrow, so you can guess that'll get a bit busy.

Ryan Day has won his 2nd ranking tournament of the season at the Gibraltar Open beating Cao Yupeng 4-0 in the final.
He produced a polished performance in the final and played some excellent snooker over the weekend as a whole.
