He will try to get in phrases, names, words into his analysis that he has been challenged by Off The Ball to try and include in his reports though

Well, firstly i think Madrid have a lot of their debts covered by the Goverment and by Spanish Banks in loans so they pretty much get them wiped out where most clubs actually have to pay back their debt.

Also with Bale it seems they will only pay 25m of the 100m this season and then pay 15m for the next 5 summers after to pay the 100m fee. So looking at it that way that is very manageable in terms of their finances. 25m is no that much for this year and then 15m a year after is nothing at all to them. It sure looks a lot better than a straight 100m dent in your bank account!! Lol.

As Spain and the Spanish banks were petty much bankrupt a few months ago and continue to be a risk, I find it strange that Madrid continue to operate as the Spanish 'government' football club.

If there were any truth in what you say the consequences would be very serious. Receiving government aid is highly illegal under EU law, because it's a breach of their competition regulations. As a matter of fact Real Madrid are currently under investigation by the EU for a land deal they made with Madrid City Council, but that's the only allegation of financial chicanery that's outstanding against them at the moment. Apart from that, they appear to be operating in an entirely legal way and are a profitable business. The amount of debt they have is less than Man Utd and less than Arsenal, so it should not prevent them from signing players or making a mega deal for Bale.
