Some news regarding the plot of The Wolverine taken from there official facebook page: "Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed."

Actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste has been added to the cast of the Robocop remake, she'll be playing Chief of Police, Karen Dean.

Neil Marshall is returning to his horror roots to make Millenium's Dracula inspired "The Last Voyage Of The Demeter" from a chapter in Bram Stoker's novel, based around the russian ship which carried a certain stowaway, and how it ended crashing upon the shores of whitby.

Why take a risk on a new exciting project, when you can remake everything and cash in on the success of the original. It doesn't matter if you piss all over the memory of a great film...as long as you make a profit.

Another thing that annoys me is the amount of sequels.

I just saw a page back that there is a Fast and Furious 6 thats taking it a bit far. It may be a good film, but how will it be any more different to the other 5 films

Its just like with those Saw films, I won't be surprised if Saw 20 comes out in the next few years

Films like Harry Potter, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are the type of films that can get away with making sequels, as there is usually a different plot to each film

Reminds me of that joke in Back to The Future Part 2 were Marty is in the year 2015 and there showing Jaws 19 and it says on the poster "This Time It's Really Really Personal" lol.

The are rumours going around that there might be a all female spin of The Expendables.

As soon as I read that post, Michelle Rodriguez was the first woman to pop into my head that would be included in the cast if a female version of The Expendables ever happened

I think Milia Jovovich and Kate Beckinsale would be possibilities to appear in the film if it gets made

With The Fright Fest screenings being held over the upcoming bank holiday weekend, these two movies caught my attention -:

Chained - this one stars Vincent D'onofrio as a serial killer cabbie who learns the son of one his victims to aid him in his terror campaign.

Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut - Clive Barker's 1990 release gets the one hour of cut footage replaced by the Morgan Creek Studio.
