This is catch up post on the TG's production ahead of its return to TV tonight at 8pm on BBC2. (Evans is quoted here, http://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/ma...-clarkson, saying that he only be happy with more than 5 million viewers... Is that as a series average or just tonight though?! One is far easier than the other. Wink )

Reports of the first two episode's studio recordings, on Thursday 19th and 26th respectively, fall into the usual two camps. Although there was naturally the odd troublesome moment in the long shoots:
