Shame he didn't give that much of a shit when he left his own daughter in a pub last year.

Or when high profile players headbutt each other or fight in the streets or sleep with other peoples wives or spend 1000s on prostitutes.

Im sure we heard more from cameron over suarez than we did over the boston bombings.

Unless Rooney starts shagging grannies on the football pitch then I don't think it's comparable.

Hes still looked up to by millions of kids as a role model so yes it's comparable, wasn't it rooney who only got a 3 game ban for kicking out at sombody and swearing straight down a camera after scoring?..

Just 1 more thing, suarez was fined 40,000 for "racially abusing" evra where as the whole of inter milan as a club have since been fined just 37000 for 1000s of the fans doing the same...

Its a little hard to compare the cases as one was done by the FA and other UFEA, am sure somebody will be able to explain in better detail if the laws and rules are the same or different in anyway.

Not quite the same. Suarez was fined because he racially abused Evra. Inter Milan didn't racially abuse anyone. They have been fined due to the moronic attitude of a section of their fans. There could be an argument that asks should a club be responsible for the actions of others. Would it not be fairer to round up the morons responsible and ban them for life from ever attending football games anywhere again.
Perhaps its time as Suarez himself has said to move on. A 10 match ban is fair for what he did. A precedent has now been set though. The FA must act with equal harshness whenever anyone crosses the line on acceptable behaviour, whatever the transgression.

It's not comparable because it's off the field and what he does in his personal life is nobody elses business unless it's criminal behaviour. A lot of people on here have payed for sex, what does that make us? Swearing into the camera he got banned for, and three games was about right for that.

I don't agree with footballers being role models anyway. Your role model should be your parents.

yeah it was rooney who swore at the camera, and physically hurt alot of people for doing it Smile ! i remember at the time and thought so what he swore it happens all the time on the pitch but every one on this forum slaughtered him yet when dalglish swore the week after at wenger after the late pens then that was ok cos he never did it at the camera although loads of people still heard him swear! should rooney have gone to the camera and say what he did then no he shouldnt but as we all keep saying in the heat of the moment things happen dont they and these footballers make mistakes, some keep repeating their mistakes as well! i dont know why the f.a. sometimes just give fines out sometimes then sometimes they give bans, some 3 games some longer and why some potential leg breaking tackles go unpunished and some dont i dont know why either. did dicanio deserve 11 games for gently pushing a ref when someone who elbows someone else in the head can get away with it and no action taken. yes the f.a. are corrupt and fucked up we know that but i dont think they are targeting one club or one particular player!

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.
