Occured to me this morning that the only 3 individuals to see truly adverse consequences from their relationships with Epstein, after he was found out, are all members of the British elite (Maxwell, Prince Andrew, Mandelson). Think this says something very iffy about about the UK-US 'special relationship'. These flacid aristocracy-types fawning round the nouveau riche. Selling their connections for the (once?) mighty dollar (and what comes with it). How many more are still fearful of what else will come out of the files?

So much of what I said in the linked post has already come true which gives me no pleasure or satisfaction whatsoever. It's depressing in the extreme.

America is indeed broken.
It can't afford to be.
Not just for itself and it's people.
But for all of us around the world.

We live in more dangerous and volatile times than I have seen before in my lifetime.
The designated leading nation of the Western democratic free world is becoming a liability to humanity by virtue of bigoted, delusional, inhumane, isolationist and near fascist sentiment. With the ultimate narcissistic compulsive liar at it's summit of power.

Trump is on the wrong side of history just as he is on the wrong side of now and the wrong side of the future. By sucking up to Putin and Netanyahu he has done exactly what I said he would do. Embolden unchecked power to do what they want for an extended time with little or no consequence inflicted by the one nation and President that can actually affect matters in an existential way. Thereby complicit in allowing death, destruction, starvation and ethnic cleansing to take hold.
The world needs a US President that is selfless yet strong.
Instead we have someone so self obsessed, so utterly detached from reality and so unbelievably and reprehensibly lacking in sensible judgement it beggars belief on a basic level that any electorate could vote him into power.
But he played the most dangerously effective card of all.
The anti establishment card laced with lies, hate, conspiracy theory and bombast. And he won using that very card.
No interest in protecting and saving humanity by going after evil perpetrators of death and destruction. Or in doing the same by actively trying to combat climate change.

It's all threats against people and nations he should be working with not against. It's all about pursuing an immoral policy agenda that attacks the weak and poor while rewarding the brutal and wealthy.
Appointment of nutter after nutter in government post after government post chiefly RFK at Health while that awful Leavitt woman spouts out inordinate amounts of bile at every press conference she can find.

The two party state has always been a problem.
But Trump has made the problem much worse by poisoning the art of public discourse and debate with lie after lie. Creator of fake news while also being chief accuser of other people fulfilling that very role even when there is evidence to suggest they are correct while he is utterly wrong.
His office debased through his own conduct while the world's leaders all fumble and flounder in playing to his ego of astronomical proportions.
And all because they feel there is no other option.

The influence of this most appalling of so called President is spreading dangerously even to our own shores.
The world is watching and wondering but also wishing it's time away waiting for relative calm and stability to retake hold. But the wait could be too long with too much damage done. For now and forever.

The suspect is apparently of College Age, blended in well with students and left a treasure trove of evidence behind including the Bolt Action 30-06 Mauser rifle which is exactly what anyone with hunting experience in America would own.

Also, the neck shot was quite likely to be a lucky hit as nobody with any formal training wouldn't aim for the head (that only works with Thanos), they'd shoot for centre mass, i.e. the chest. This is very unlikely to be any kind of Professional Job IMVHO.

I can only echo Snooks' thoughts & Post, but to be honest it has to be said right here, right now:- America needs to wake up very quickly, take a step back and actually look at what is happening.

Trump has taken it down a rabbit hole that has possibly no real end in sight, the fact being his policies will in time unravel every business relationship America has had, and my gut instinct says it has reached the point (If it hasn't already) where countries will start completely rejecting American imports and will look inwards at it's
own industrial infrastructure to produce goods of better quality, and export to every other nation except America and America will be left isolated.

Typically in a situation like this, most leaders would take a neutral stance along the lines of, let the police and courts do their thing and let justice be seen to be done.
Trump's position - we got him, hopefully he gets the death penalty.

Says so much about his mentality and the mindset he has imposed on the country.

Some chance of the guy getting a 'fair' trial now.

Also, he and many others in the maga movement have blamed the Democrats for this!! when there was at the time no information about who the shooter was & their motives

and some people in MAGA have even called for the democrats/the radical left to be wiped out!!!
