Who would have thought a convicted felon, with unchecked power, with little in the way of morals, who loves dictators, would try that shit. Hmmm.

The thing is that chunks of the Republican Party are too scared to take Trump on because if they do he (and his goons) can easily whip up populist sentiment against them to get them back in their box.

To me if the US goes into total Meltdown & Civil War (which is likely to end in stalemate), it'll because of Trump, and it'll take them years to shake off the effects of this Presidency. If Charles has any sense now, he'd put his state visit on hold.

I suppose we'll need to see how those in the background react, depending on just how far this goes. Not every member of their three letter agencies will be happy with how things are now being run, and I imagine many high up in the military won't be too happy about their rank and file being deployed on American soil. Sure the yes men he's installed will be loving every minute of serving dear leader, but there will be a point when too far is too far, then America's military will have an important choice to make, go against their constitution and follow illegal orders, or do the right thing.

All it takes is one trigger happy idiot, unfortunately America has a few, even in their military.

And that thought of one trigger - happy idiot is the one fear that could blow everything wide open.

Well MAGA are everywhere, so one in uniform looking for a fight, doing something stupid could light a fuse that could do untold damage.
If it's not obvious what they're doing now, then people are blind, there are too many not thinking of the bigger picture in my opinion, left and right.
