Now, I've seen many managers lose their cool with the media/press at a press conference, e.g Fergie, Mourinho, Mancini, etc etc etc. But havin watched Arsene Wenger's press conference on Sky Sport News yesterday, never had I seen him so rattled & angry at the journalist's questions whether it was regardin the defeat against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup or questions about the upcomin Champion League game against Bayern Munich.

If anythin, it looked like Wenger was about to blow a gasket!! eek

have a chuckle at this a coventry city fan rung a local radio show to rant about coventry drawing 0-0 having left the game 2 mins early to avoid the crush. when he was told they'd won 2-0 having scored 2 late goals he didnt believe the presenters

RE: Football Banter
I'm delighted Newcastle beat Metalist on Thursday to reach the last 16 of the Europa League.

I didn't watch the game because I had to catch a train home that day, but reading the reports over the two legs, it sounds like we deserved to go through overall and it could have been more comfortable before the second leg began if those two Cisse goals in the first leg counted.

I think thats our 6th clean sheet in the Europa League this season compared to the 4 clean sheets we have overall in the Premier League. If only we could bring in our defensive form from the Europa League into the Premier League.

I was surprised by our team selection for Thursday's game. Although some key players were left out or couldn't play, Pardew picked out a fairly strong team that surprised me because I thought he would rest a lot of first team players for the key match against Southampton during the weekend. I hope the players don't feel tired from the return journey home, but that great win on Thursday should give the whole squad a real buzz.

Anzhi in the next round of the Europa League. Its not an easy tie for us, but at least we have the second leg at home, so hopefully we keep things tight in the first leg and then grab the win in the second leg. Hopefully we do what Fulham did a few seasons ago and unexpectedly reach the Europa League final.

C'mon for the team I support, Bradford City. Bradford City play Swansea City today in the final of the Capital One Cup.

After two years I've finally given myself an avatar and a signature as well! It's like a bus, you wait for one for ages and two come at once!

Good pair of results in the premiership today. I still think the title race is over, but 3rd/4th spot looks to be a 3-way tie between Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal, and it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Chelsea could miss out on the Champions League for next year, which would be a major loss for them.

Meanwhile, Cardiff are playing well at Wolves, and we could be heading for 2 welsh teams in the English Premiership next season Smile

While my lot at Molineux are sinking ever further into oblivion.
Another humiliating, calamitous, disastrous, monstrous, cataclysmic, catastrophic collapse is predictably unfolding before our eyes. I thought this season would be a relegation battle and I was laughed out of town by a lot of people I know. The club is descending into total meltdown.
Relegation is drawing ever nearer for the second season in a row.

Misery, despair and dejection beyond words. And to be honest I fear it may get even worse next season in League One. Is there no end to this nightmare? Truly desperate Sad.
