Gallerys66 has just said that she is meant to be in from 5pm tomorrow in the studio, but couldn't say if it's only backstage or not.

I can't for the life of me see the fucking point.

Imagine that you had the most beautiful, expensive and exciting classic car in the world. A Ferrari .
On a Bank Holiday you are lucky enough to be allowed to display it to all it's adoring fans at the best Concours g'Elegance in the world. You take the trouble to drive it across one of the most congested cities there are, nervous that it's exquisite bodywork be scratched or that its control system, loved and respected by so many fans be stressed.
Then on arrival you find that unfortunately the sexy, hand crafted body work will be displayed under a tarpauline because the organisers of the Concours have been told that there are a number of fans present that only want to see its exhaust pipe.

You complain that your automobile is available for SEVEN hours, plenty of time for you to both show off the exhaust pipe to the specialists and to remove the tarpauline and display the Ferrari's seductive curves to the multitude. Even perhaps to allow for a few moments where you might take to the PA system, shout over the music and make a warm, loving and engaging welcome to fans.
You point out that there are lots of other cars on display, they all have an exhaust pipe but that they don't possess the charm of your bodywork, nor is their control system so loved by fans.
To no avail.
The exhaust pipe devotees point out that on Saturday you displayed your rakish lines and shouted over the music on the PA for no less than eleven hours and that now it's their turn.

I swould like to see Fern do a couple of shows from home before she retires and away from St66 studios where she can be totally intimate with us. I know that the internet is sometimes dodgy at home for her and the quality of stream is beyond her control at home for her too, but in that setting we can have a proper chat and she won't have to worry about music interference over her shout outs probably even to the point where she could do group chats and speak to several of us at once.

I think Fernanda's final show should be made at home.

Or failing that, at least her final week of shows she should think about being done with the Studio work by end of November and make December Studio66 free so she can say goodbye properly and intimately

Agree also with your sentiments as well in regards of Fern's behind closed doors appearance later. I would have thought some room could have been made on what appears to be a very ordinary afternoon/ evening roster ( well aren't they mostly rather uninspiring nowadays?!)

As we enter the final third of the year the finishing line of Fern's TV and modelling career begins to be seen on the horizon , the day of reckoning is becoming closer when Brazil's finest export will no longer be seen in all her glory. As I have mentioned several times before these final swan song appearances should be enjoyed by all, which is why I was rather surprised to see Fernsboy raking up and posting a disgruntled post from 1 punter earlier about Fern's phone habits on Saturday night. It's probably not right but why does it need posting for all to see on a platform that usually supports as opposed to fault finding? Each to their own I suppose....

As to the final appearances I wouldn't expect anything too grand from Studio66 . I cannot remember anything special for Sophia Lares or Vikki Thomas ( remember her ? ) after their long years of service or Cara Brett even. Keep the comments positive and well, you may be in luck. I know how it works.....

You paint a good picture Chrisst but your analogy doesn't address the issues involded.

What funds your touring about? Are all your supporters of equal value in their contributions to such? What if the run of the mill "adoring fans" aren't paying enough to keep up your roadster's same patterned appearances every time? What if the exhaust aficionados are more generous than those guys? And what if the tarp actually makes the crowd more giddy for a peek beneath the covers and they will pay for the privilege to do so? (Exclusivity being one of the biggest selling points going as always of course.)

Babeshow engagement comes in all shapes and sizes; especially in the modern era with so many paystreams deployed. It's an artform; and the babe requires shifting techniques in her efforts to make it, she hopes, optimally effective in any given moment. As punters we all think our tastes should take precedence but there can only, usually, be a targeting of a certain audience for a while.

The shows used to be simple: If it was unlikely to create the most callers for that shift you couldn't really argue for it. Now the complexity of bringing in the most revenue makes tactics more open to debate; it allows for far more scope and variation in method and technique from babe and operator. Things are simply not as clear cut as they were. What actions have a negative effect on a customer's experience and loyalty, for instance, has become a correspondingly murkier subject.

Analogies tend to fall down when the clientele's desires are as diverse as they are here nowadays; when there are deliberately few defined price points anymore; and the customer base is such that it can fall to resentment and frustration so easily. (Consider, for example, the inter-punter jealousies that can come into play on chatboxes and the offputting overinflation of prices fly-by-night 'whale' tippers can bring about.) It's a very uncertain dynamic these days that's for sure.

I Think we should flood their inbox with our requests to let Fern do her final few shows at home away from the studio, and allow her to do them when she wants to do them and be allowed to do what she likes, so we can give her the send - off we feel she deserves from the most important people to her - her fans & friends. Many of us have enjoyed many a close personal chat with Fern over the time she has been our screens and for some of us, talking with her is a pleasure in itself...
