Scottish Football

I think on the whole it's been a very refreshing change for Scottish football. Just who would have thought it. Hamilton Accies topping the Premiership table I was one of many that predicted that they would struggle this season, just how wrong I was to make that assumption. Hamilton may be top but don't forget Dundee United are just 1 point behind in 2nd. Infact the top 4 is very tight indeed. Only 3 points between 4th and 1st.

As it stands Celtic are only 10 points off occupying the Play Off spot That'll not happen. Celtic will eventually catch up so at the moment the less glamorous clubs can all enjoy there moment in the spotlight.

In the unlikely event that Hamilton Accies do go onto clinching the title then whoever has put on a silly pre-season bet will be laughing all the way to the bank.

How could we?

My concern is that sooner or later the wheels are going to come off badly, probably by drawing Rangers in a cup and getting hammered. Celtic's current wobbles oddly mirror the way Rangers haven't yet found their feet in their division. Hindsight suggests that as the season draws on, the experience, stamina and strength in depth synonymous with both teams will start to lift them.

Hamilton Academicals winning the SPL would be amazing.
Every credit to them for what they have done so far.
Just imagine Hamilton Accies v Real Madrid in the Champions League .
You couldn't make it up .

Hamilton lost 2-0 at Dundee
But Dundee Utd also lost, to Inverness
Hamilton lead Inverness by goal difference

East Stirling lost 4-3 at Annan, but remain 9th because Elgin (10th) also lost.

Awful end of game for Dunfermline, thought we had a draw only for Morton to win it right at the end
