TNA was carried by some of the best young wrestlers in the world at the time , the likes of AJ, Jo and Daniels where at there creative peaks arguably,
A lot of the ides he had to get rating after the move to spike TV in 2005 just fell on there face and talent last belief in him,
He pushed his old wcw friends and not the great young talent which saw the fans lose interest,

This is all wrong mate it wasn't Jeff who proposed it it was his dad Jerry who would some times be in the booking meetings during the very early days of TNA.
TV ratings on spike increased year after year at one point to as much as 1.9 million viewers.
And between 2002 and 2008 there wasn't many wcw guys in TNA up until 2007 the only push old wcw guys was sting and Scott Steiner who put samoa Joe over, occasionally people like DDP or Nash would be there for a few months but most of the time they was in matches with Jarrett and can I point out he made AJ styles nwa champion in 2003 when he was just 25 and he put emphasize on the x division highlighting all the young stars.

Things only started to go down hill when dixy carter sent Jeff home and brought in Eric bischoff and Hulk Hogan who quite literally rinsed every penny they could from that company.

My line of thinking is if Jeff took over would the NXT survive and would he release as many from contracts and tempt Sasha & Naomi back?

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE under went brand change too

I may have had plenty of bad words about HHH as a booker over the years, but he was Einstein compared to Jeff Jarrett. Vince will give Bischoff the keys before he gives them to Jarrett.
