Classic night for strong content on the film channels, at least from a horror perspective.

Film 4 is showing Quills, cert 18, the story of the Marquis de Sade. Features Kate Winslet. Despite that the write up says "Stong language/sexual scenes/violence." You're a little confused there, eccles. The Video Nasties Scare was early 80s, HH2 was '88. It may have come in for some stick during the second wave and re-emergence of the video nasties nonsense in '92, but certainly not in the original.

The rules on what can be done on normal tv compared to what can be done on a shopping channel licence is stupid. if ofcom is protecting children from what is said/seen on adult channels, why aren't they protecting the very same way on normal tv!? There basically saying you don't have a right to be offended by seeing a pussy on channel 4 e.g (jimmy carr's face!) But you do have a right to be offended/protected from seeing a pussy on a 900 channel!!!!
I think ofcom should use one of these shopping channel licence's, to buy a brain!!!!
