I think that Ben Elton was dealt a very good hand given the current political situation but even so it could've been 1987. Harry Enfield did both of his things and I particularly liked Jo Brand.

I must admit I didn't watch any of the new comics, they're too hard a watch.

There were two things I didn't go for. Firstly the length of the advert breaks. So long that during one I was able to watch the whole of Have I Got News For You.

Secondly was the music. It might have been contemporary but it was boring and it didn't seem to be live. Here's how they used to do it.

The Peripheral Ep 1 & 2 (Amazon Prime)

Not a bad start to this William Gibson adaptation. Nolan and Joy have given this the Westworld feel.
